The fabric pilling tester is used to determine the fabric’s resistance to form pilling and snagging. It is designed in accordance with the requirements of international standards like ASTM D 3512.

The textile pilling test machine simulates wear and tear on fabric in daily life. In the fabric pilling tester, the specimen is placed in a rotating cylindrical drum, which has cork inside or any abrasive material to give abrasion on the fabric surface.
